Mary Dean Griffin Harrison Davis It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Dean Griffin Harrison Davis, aged 91, of Lexington. Mrs. Davis departed this life on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at her residence surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 20th, 1934, in Limestone County, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of William Austine Griffin and Zona Morrison Griffin.

Mrs. Davis leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her sons, Anthony “Tony” Harrison and his wife Dianne, and Rickey Harrison; her daughter Karen White and her husband Steve. Her beloved sisters, Linda Webster (Eldridge), Judy Wiggington, and Phyllis Malone (Roger), will also cherish her memory. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Toby Harrison (Tonya), Troy Harrison (Anna), Jeffrey White (Erin), Wesley Harrison, Ashley Thompson (Cody), and Kari Murphy (Michael). Her great-grandchildren, Braedan, Walker, Hayes, Sadler, Will, Blaze, Lawson, Kody, Watson, Mary Griffin, and Hadley Ana, were a source of immense pride and joy for her.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Zona Griffin; her husbands, Herbert Harrison and Robert Davis; her brother Douglas Griffin and his wife Doris; her daughter-in-law Sherry Harrison; and her brother-in-law Robert Wiggington.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation for Mrs. Davis on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by Daniel Tucker. Mrs. Davis will be laid to rest at Hesters Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law: Toby Harrison, Troy Harrison, Jeffrey White, Wesley Harrison, Will Thompson, and Michael Murphy.

Mary Dean Griffin Harrison Davis will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the love she showed to all who knew her. She leaves behind a family that will honor her memory and carry forward her legacy with pride. Her presence will be dearly missed, but the impact of her life will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
