Kevin Scott Painter, age 55 of Guntersville passed away Friday, July 31, 2026.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Kevin Barksdale will officiate his service. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Sunderman, Roger Lightsey, Michael Loyd, Tanner Musick, Michael Morgan and Donny Rex Murdock. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 before the service.
He is survived by his wife; Rebecca Painter, sons; Zach Painter and Ethan Painter (Alexis), grandson; Hudson John Painter, brother; Bryan Pointer (Katrina), sister; Melissa Vandergriff (Mike) and fur babies; Charlie, Copper, Murphy and Miller.
He is preceded in death by his parents; David and Charlotte Painter.
Kevin was a Registered Nurse for 29 years. He loved his job, serving and caring for others at different hospitals, Hospices and nursing homes. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Grove Oak.
