Naomi King Hall, 89, of Limestone County, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on July 15th, 2026. Born on September 3rd, 1936, to Clifton Shalor King and Rosa Lee Adams King, Naomi was born and raised in Lauderdale County during the Great Depression, an experience that helped shape the strong work ethic, resilience, and compassionate spirit that defined her life.
Naomi was a devoted Christian who attended both Sunny Hill Church and the Apostolic Church throughout her life. She was known for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and the love she shared with family, friends, and neighbors. Her home was always open to anyone in need, and over the years she lovingly helped raise not only her own family but many others who found comfort, guidance, and acceptance under her roof. Naomi was and excellent cook and baker.
She married the love of her life, Willie E. Hall, in Iuka, Mississippi, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. Naomi was professional a seamstress and served in the lunchrooms at Reid and Tanner, where she was known for her dedication and caring nature. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for the DAV as well as a volunteer for the Red Cross for many years.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Rene Collins (Jerry), Kay Hunter (Brad), Michael Austin, Kelli Hall (Brian), Shalor Austin (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Logan Hall, Carter Austin, Hayden Austin, Jake Austin, Hannah Hunter, and Miles Hunter; along with numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie E. Hall; her parents, Clifton Shalor King and Rosa Lee Adams King; her children, Deborah Hardin, Brenda Austin, Ricky Hall, and Wayne Hall; her great-grandson, Alexander Hoover; two sisters; and four brothers.
Those who knew Naomi will remember her as a woman of deep faith, boundless generosity, and enduring strength. She loved her family fiercely, welcomed others without hesitation, and lived a life that reflected the values she held dear. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she left this world singing and has now entered her eternal home.
Funeral services will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, with Mike Moore and Sam Schlatter officiating. Burial will follow in Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, July 17th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Hall, Tim Hall, Wade Hall, Shalor Austin, Hank Hall, Carter Austin, and David King. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Hall, Collin Baldwin, Noah Long, Hayden Austin, Jake Austin, and Hannah and Miles Hunter.
