Don Ellis McGee, age 88 of Killen, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Audry McGee; son-in-law, Brian Tidwell; brothers, John and Eugene McGee.
Survivors are his loving wife of 47 years, Belva Eady McGee; children, Amy Watkins Tidwell, Alan Watkins (Sara), Max McGee, and Tim McGee (Amy); sister, Sally McGee Browning (Donnie); grandchildren, Kristy McGee Flanders (Quinten), Robert McGee (Meagan); Ashton McCluskey (Aaron), Ryan McGee, Madison Phillips (Riley), Sam Watkins, Jack McGee, Jordon Vincent (Cooper), and Mallie Watkins; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Isaiah, August, Marjorie, Rue, and Thomas.
Don was a graduate of Athens High School and retired with Solutia Inc. for 37 years. A private family Celebration of Life will be scheduled later. Special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama for their love and care. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
