Mr. Mike DyerBilly Michael “Mike” Dyer went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of January 4th, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Mike was born on December 18th, 1953 and lived his life to its fullest. To know Mike was to love him. Mike graduated from Scott’s Hill High School in 1971. He worked as an EMT with the Henderson County Ambulance Service from 1974-1979. In 1979, Mike joined his Father In Law, the late “Gib” Ward, running the full service Gulf Station. In 2000, Mike opened Wash-N-Works on the same property. Over the years, Mike operated on a currency known well to this town. He took care of those who called on him, no matter his cost. His family will forever benefit from the works Mike did for his fellow man. Through the years at Wash-N-Works, many “Tall Tales” were told, “World Problems” solved, and many services were rendered.

The ducks rest a little easier tonight, as Mike was an avid duck hunter for many years. He also enjoyed attending NASCAR Races, water skiing, attending Memphis Basketball games, and most of all, supporting the Big Red Tigers on the Court and Gridiron.

Mike is survived by his Wife of 48 years, Ramona Ward Dyer, Son Cameron Dyer, Daughter Carly Dyer Smith and Son in Law, Nicolas Smith, and Brother Kimmy Dyer. He was “Poppy” to Brooklynn, Statton, and Hudsyn.
Mike was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Bill and Carolyn Dyer.
