Ida Lee Statler, age 84 of Pelham, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. She was born on December 23, 1941, in Cook County, Illinois, to the late John and Georgiana Statler.
Ida was a devoted homemaker who loved her children dearly and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and will be remembered for her loving, kind, and gentle nature, as well as her appreciation for the simple things in life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gibbons; and children, Phyllis Gibbons, James Gibbons, and Kathleen Phillips.
Ida is survived by her loving children, Daniel Gibbons and Dorothy Gibbons; brother, Raymond (Karen) Statler; grandchildren, Noralee, Jason, Luke, and Taralynn; and other loving family members and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, Ida will be cremated, and no services will be held.
