Linda Joyce Bolding Smith, 72, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born in the Halltown Community to Jack D. and Gladys Marie Holmes Bolding. She worked in the cafeteria at Red Bay School for 26 years and was a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Thursday, December 7, 2 p.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. David Kelley and Jarod Massey officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, Melissa Holland (Ricky) and Anthony Smith; two sisters, Janette Boyd (Alan) and Kathy Vinson (Glen); sister-in-law, Brenda Scott (H.T.); brother-in-law, Larry Smith (Sheila) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Smith; her parents and her father and mother-in-law, Tulon and Jessica Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jarod Massey, Jason Vinson, Jaxon Vinson, Jalen Vinson, Gary Blackburn and Torey Boyd.
