Bobby Ray Armour, age 80 of Greenbrier passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield. A Funeral Service will be held at 6pm on Monday, April 28th, 2025 in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Rev. Donnie Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm on Monday.
Bobby was born February 11, 1945 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Charles E. Devore and Mary Josephine Callis Armour. He was also preceded in death by his adopted father, William H. Armour; brothers, Michael Armour, Herbert; sisters, Connie Witt, Teresa Keymon and Ella Ruth Graves. He is survived by daughters, Bobbie G. Dorris, Jackie R. Taylor; brother, Billy Armour: special friend of 18 plus years, Lana Atkinson; grandchildren, Nicholas (Hatty) Mazur, Trysten Spicer, Brandy (Aaron) Freeman, Brooke Dorris; great-grandchildren Freya Mazur and Chase Spicer.
He was a Meat Cutter at Kroger for 33 years. Bobby loved playing and singing music around the area. One place he played at often was Morningside Assisted Living in Springfield and he loved going to the YMCA. Online condolences may be made at www.austnandbell.com.
