Hilda Baxter Lasater age 95, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, at her home after a long and joyful life.
She was born December 25th, 1929, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Stanley and Ellis Richardson Baxter. She was a Homemaker and a lifelong member of Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Robert H. “Bobby” Lasater in 2004; granddaughter Mallory Gabard Cruz in 2017, and brother in law, Leslie Stubblefield.
She is survived by daughter Cindy Lasater Gabard (Joseph) of Chapel Hill; granddaughter Meredith Gabard Douglas (Darren Stephens) of Nashville; sisters Betty Stubblefield of Kingsport, TN, and Kathy Grimes (Ronnie) of Murfreesboro; one great granddaughter Lilian Emmanuelle Cruz; two bonus great grands, Chloe and EZ Cruz and their parents, Allison and Kyle Cruz, all of Murfreesboro.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at 11:00 am from Lone Oak Cemetery with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to recognize her team of caregivers: Compassus Hospice, Touching Hearts at Home, Judy Bivins, Lisa Wing, and Sandra Sanders. Their caring hearts were a blessing to the family.
