Mandy Hughes Ransom  Funeral service for Mandy Hughes Ransom, 46, will be Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. No Visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Ransom passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. She was born March 16, 1979, in Morgan County, to Charles Mitchell Hughes and Linda Flowers Hughes.

Mandy was a strong, Christian, wife and mother. She loved sports that her daughters played. However, the Alabama Crimson Tide football program gave her many years of joy. She also loved to watch the Atlanta Braves. She played sports herself and was a State Champion gymnast for all four years of High School at Hartselle. More importantly, she was a Champion Mother and Wife. She was employed by the Morgan County School System, as a Math Teacher, prior to her retirement.

There was never a person who met her that didn’t love her! Though she was dealt a bad hand with her sickness, she never once failed to show her beautiful smile or complained.

Survivors include her Husband – Brandon Ransom, two daughters- Halle Ransom and Lily Ransom, her parents – Mitchell and Linda Flowers Hughes, two sisters – Daphne Cost (Craig) and Melanie Calvert (Nathan) and her nephew- Dillon Cost.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Robertson, Nathan Steele, David McKee, Michael McKee, and Karson Boger.
