Peggy Jones Cox, 85 of Arab passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Summerford Health & Rehab. She was born September 22, 1939 in Marshall County, the daughter of Ray Jones and Evelyn Nearen. She retired from Blue Bell/Wrangler and was married to Max Leon Cox who passed away November 17, 2020.
She is survived by her children: Nancy Stafford, Melody Nunley, Debbie Bledsoe, David Nunley and Billy Dunn; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Max Cox; siblings: Charles Jones, Mary Sparks and Stella Gilliom.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 27, 2025 at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
