Danielle Latrice Crutcher, 31, of Elkmont, AL, was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Drug Trafficking, two counts of Possession of a pistol by Addict, IPOM 2, and IPOM 1. Danielle is currently being held with a $205,500.00 bond.
Dartavian Anwar Crutcher, 19, of Athens, AL, was placed under arrest and charged with Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Pistol by an Addict. Crutcher is being held with a $101,000.00 bond.
Deandre Marquis Vaughn, 21, of Huntsville, AL, was placed under arrest and charged with Drug Trafficking. Vaughn has since been released on a $100,000.00 bond.
Uganda Tanzania Crutcher, 51, of Elkmont, AL, was arrested and charged with Obstructing Governmental Operations. Crutcher has since been released on a $1000.00 bond.
ELKMONT-On January 9, 2025, the Limestone County Narcotics Unit, with assistance from Sergeant Caleb Ryan, Deputy Nathan Green, K-9 Szakal, and the Athens Police Department – Alabama, conducted a successful narcotics operation at a residence on Grant Dr. in Elkmont, Alabama, following multiple complaints regarding illegal activity at the location.
During the operation, officers initiated surveillance of the residence, leading to two traffic stops. The first stop resulted in the seizure of 2 ounces of Methamphetamine, one-half ounce of Marijuana, and a firearm after a positive indication from K-9 Szakal during the search. In a second traffic stop, officers discovered an additional 2 ounces of Methamphetamine and two firearms.
The evidence obtained during the traffic stops established probable cause, and a search warrant for the Grant Dr. residence was obtained. At approximately 4:00 p.m., the Limestone County SWAT team executed the warrant, leading to the discovery of over 1507 grams (approximately 3.3 pounds) of Methamphetamine, a small amount of Marijuana, and two additional firearms.
