Decatur Man Dies After Striking Vehicle With His Motorcycle

ROGERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enfocement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident involving a Motorcycle has taken the life of a Decatur man:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 5, has claimed the life of a Decatur man.

Orlando Sanchez, 39, was critically injured when the 2006 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe motorcycle he was operating struck the rear of the 2015 Nissan Murano driven by Tresea M. Walker, 59, of Rogersville. Sanchez was transported to Athens Limestone Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near the 56 mile marker, within city limits of Rogersville, in Lauderdale County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
