Erma Fleming Poe, 91, of Florence, passed away Dec. 23, 2013.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 26, from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, in the chapel, with burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Scott Winter and Brother Sonny Owen are officiating.
Mrs. Poe was preceded in death by her first husband, Boyd Burns Fleming; daughter, Linda Fleming Lindsey; brothers, Bob, Melvin and Chester Jones; and sisters, Florence Smith, Bonnie Holt, and Sue Dennis.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Allen Poe;
son, David Fleming (Pam);
daughter, Denise Winter (Scott);
stepchildren, Donald Poe (Juaneece), Bruce Poe (Diane). and Eda Springer;
a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and
brother, Frank Jones (Susan).
Pallbearers will be, Tim Holt, Evan Fleming, Brad Lindsey, Bryan Lindsey, Josh Lindsey and Jason Lindsey.
Mrs. Poe was a member of Petersville Church of Christ and an avid bowler on Dixietts Bowler League for 40 plus years. She voluntered at the Underwood-Petersville Community Center for many years.
