Shirley Lee Rodgers, 76, of Florence, passed away Dec. 20, 2013, at Shoals Hospital. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Forest Hills Baptist Church with the memorial service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rich Hardeman will officiate.
Mrs. Rodgers was a native of Pueblo, Colo. and formerly resided in Oregon for 30 years prior to moving to Florence. She and her husband loved to travel extensively in their motor home. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Rodgers; son, Michael William Rodgers and wife, Aileen, Rapid City, S.D.; grandchildren, Kaleb Michael Rodgers and Kaden Matthew Rodgers; and sister, Valarie Fellman, Lincoln, Calif.
