David Wayne Bishop

David Wayne Bishop (Bama Dave), 60 , of Attalla died Friday, April 11, 2025 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Ruth Bishop, sister Faye Parker, and brother Johnny Bishop.

He is survived by his children, Wendi (Jay) Shoemaker, Joey (Dana) Bishop, David (Scotti) Bishop, and James Bishop; grandsons, David Scott, Carson, and Brantley Bishop; siblings, Ricky Bishop, Barbara Gresham, and Joycee Bishop; and caregiver, Peggy Battles.

There are no services at this time.

The family wishes express gratitude to Kelly, Lisa, and Casey with ProHealth Hospice for their dedicated care.
