A Funeral Service for Ronnie Dale Lacey, age 64, will be Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Church with Pastor John Luckie and Rev. James Parsons officiating and burial adjoining. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 at Pleasant Hill Church but Mr. Lacey will be available for viewing after 8pm. Ronnie passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at his home and was a lifelong resident of Clay County. He worked for Koch Foods(Tyson) for over 45 years and was a longtime member of the Millerville volunteer fire department. He worked hard, loved nature and was an avid outdoorsman. Ronnie was a longtime member and trustee of Pleasant Hill Church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Billie Mitchell Lacey of Millerville; son, Christopher Lacey (Abbie) of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Deanna, Drew and Hadley; siblings, Karen Parsons(James) of Millerville, Johnnie Lacey(Cindy) of Millerville and Martha Patterson(Charles) of Millerville; many nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was a wonderful husband, father and Pawpaw. Preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Sewillow Lacey; brothers Curtis and Calvin Lacey. Pallbearers will be John Lacey, Jeromy Suggs, Kris Taylor, Steve Parsons, Adam Lacey and Jeff Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the church. The family would like to thank Dr. Clifton Garris, Clay County Home Health, Hospice of Clay County and the Cancer Center of Georgia for their care of Ronnie.
