Funeral Services for Mr. Royce Mullally, age 76 of Lineville, will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. T.J. Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel (North) Baptist Church Cemetery.
Royce passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center. Born and raised in Alabama, he worked many years in the Valley Mill, at Mohawk and retired from West Point Pepperell. Royce enjoyed fishing, hunting for arrowheads, riding motorcycles, weaving baskets and hunting for gold. He also loved listening to music, helping others, and especially loved his grandbabies.
He is survived by his children: Amanda Holcombe (Tony) and Jill Dutton, both of Lineville, and many extended children, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his sister, Joyce Aucoin, two brothers: Ray and Jimmy (Kathy) Mullally, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maylon, Sr. and Evie Spicie Jones Mullally, his son, Roger Dale Mullally, three brothers: Bobby, Billy and Albert “Sonny” Mullally, and four sisters: Marie Mullally, Francis Watts, Alice Moore and Inez Mitchell.
Active Pallbearers will be: Mark Mullally, Rob Mullally, Brandon Short, Dewayne Lambert, Patrick Rouse, Tony Watts and Jerry Duke.
Jordan Dutton will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and until service time on Sunday.
