Billy (Bill) Ray Hollis, of Bear Creek, AL died Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 15, 1939.

Bill is survived and missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Lee (Foster) Hollis; children, Tonya Hollis Southall (Paul), and Kim Hollis; sisters, Bobbie Garrett and Bonnie Lambert; sister-in-law, Ann Hollis; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Alma Hollis; his mother & step-father, Jake & Savola Armstrong; brothers, Jack (Ann) Hollis and Donald “Buzzy” Armstrong; and brother-in-law, Bobby Garrett.
He retired from Frontier Homes in Haleyville, AL after 30 years. He had an amazing memory and could recall so many wonderful family memories including the exact date and place and entertained his family with those stories. He loved nothing more than being on his farm and raising his cattle and taking care of his land.
