Charles Edward Ward, age 75, Bear Creek, AL. entered into rest March 1, 2023 at his home. He was a retired welder from Fontaine Trailers. He was a Baptist, and a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Army.
Visitation will be Monday March 6, 2023 from 12:00NOON – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with his nephew Bryan Ward officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Gayron Ward, Barry Sanders, Keith Mann, Josh Sanders, Tyler Mann and Austin Crysell.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Fayrene Pickard, Raymond (Lola) Ward, Kenneth (Margaret) Ward, Nellie Mann, Jeanette (Robert) Mays; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Thomas Ward; parents, Ozie and Addie Ward, grandparents, Willie and Nigeria Ward, Robert and Margaret Kelley; sister, Margaret Sanders; brother in laws, Russell Pickard and Larry Mann; niece, Andra Pickard.
