Brenda Louise Andrews Leath passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 73, at home surrounded by her loving husband and children after a long illness. Born on February 19, 1952, in New Albany, MS, she was the cherished daughter of the late Annie Rucker and John Lee “Bud” Andrews. A devoted wife and mother, Brenda’s love and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. Together with her husband, she proudly owned and operated Leath Trucking and Construction Company for 58 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Wallace; her children, Rodney Leath, Leann Gregory (Tim), Jessica Garrison (Hank), Anthony “Boy” Leath (Brandie), and Patience Russell (Dakota); and her grandchildren, Lane Rowan (Trish), Amber Jarrett (Wes), Colby Graham (Kelsey), Austin Gregory (Sophia), Ethan Garrison (Hayley), Walker Gregory (Kelsey), Shyann Garrison, Allie Leath (Colton), Ty Bramlett (Addie), Jake Leath, Ryder Leath, and Naomi Leath; along with 13 great-grandchildren and another expected in May. She is also survived by her sisters, Sylvia Childers, Sherlie Carson, Debbie Andrews, and Lynn Page, and her brother, Dennis Andrews.
Brenda now rejoins her parents, grandparents Vic Roy and Mae Prather, Leonard and Mommie Andrews; her granddaughter, Rylie Layne Leath; her grandson, Taylor Rowan; her brother, James Lee Andrews; and her sisters, Sheila Stromatt and Judy Swaggerty.
No public services will be held. Burial will be in Warren Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Colby Graham, Austin Gregory, Ethan Garrison, Walker Gregory, Ty Bramlett, Jake Leath, and Ryder Leath.
