Ricky Leonard McClure, age 58, of Cornersville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Ricky was born April 19, 1968, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late Leonard McClure and Mrs. Glynis Stinson McClure who survives.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Sharp McClure; mother Glynis Stinson McClure of Cornersville; two sons, Dustin McClure (Amanda) of Lawrenceburg and Ethan McClure of Cornersville; daughter Hannah Thurman (Randy) of Lynnville; 14 grandchildren; step children Preston McGuire (Shawnta) of Athens, Alabama, and Cara Gibson (Shana) of Pulaski; brother Wendell McClure (Donna) of Cornersville and sister Trina Hardrick (Mike) of Lewisburg.

He worked as a machinist with SPS Greer Stop Nut, Inc., in Nashville and was known for his skill and dedication to his craft. A true car enthusiast, he loved older model vehicles, hot rods, and the challenge of building motors. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping with family at the river. An ’80s music fan, he always found joy in the songs that defined that era. May his memory continue to shine through the stories shared, the humor he brought to life, and the love he carried for his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his memory to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, 5526 West 13400 South, #510, Herriman, Utah 84096, or online at https://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/donate to benefit research for bile duct cancer.

Visitation with the family will be held at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN, on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with cremation to follow.
