Nancy V. Summerford Gardner, 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Marietta after a battle with cancer. She was born September 25, 1964, to Dan and Vonnie Mason Summerford. She was a homemaker and also was a baby sitter for several years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, coloring and cooking.
Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Toby Mears officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include three daughters, Cassandera Gilliland, Kayla Jackson, and Hailie Gardner; one son, Ricky Gilliland; her father, Dan Summerford; her husband, David Gardner; one sister, Peggy Gasaway; eight grandchildren, Brock Milam, Vanesa Navarrete, Mckenzie Navarrete, Miley Navarrete, Jase Yielding, Aubree Gilliland, Olivia Gilliland, and Skylar Gilliland.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vonnie Summerford.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
