Annis Fay Culver Green Curtis, at age 80, crossed over to meet her Savior from her Saltillo home on Dec. 30, 2025 after a period of declining health. She was born in Itawamba Co. in the Lost Corner Community to the late Emmitt Culver and Ruth McDaniel Culver. Mrs. Curtis was a master seamstress for over 3 decades working for Blue Bell Manufacturing. Later in life after retirement, she spent several years at Sanctuary Hospice House where she was a nurse’s aide, a responsibility she cherished. Annis loved going to auctions, loved all animals and dearly loved and cared for her family over these many years. “Ma Annis” was particularly fond of her three grandchildren, her great grands and the one great great grandchild. She was a longtime member of Sherman Baptist Church but had attended Belden Baptist in recent years until her health declined.

A service to celebrate her life and faith will take at 2 PM Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 at Belden Baptist Church with Pastor Shane McGivney officiating. Private burial will follow in Belden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30pm-service time on Sunday only at the Church. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving the family.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by her son, Sammy Green and wife, Tina of Saltillo; her 3 grand children, Kirk Green (Terina), Paul Wayne Green (Jessica) and Beth Bryant (Chris), several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild’ her brother, Larry Culver (Dean) of Greenwood Springs; her family from her marriage to John Curtis, who died in September, 2015, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Green, her husband, and two siblings, Billy Culver and Kay Culver Gillentine.

The family asked that memorials be made to Belden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 92, Tupelo, MS 38826 for missions and building fund.
