Patricia Ann Speaks Holland, 70, died Friday, December 19, 2025, in Oxford. She was born on June 14, 1955, at Fort Benning, Georgia, to the late Thomas E. Speaks Sr., an Army Veteran, and the late Shirley “Nell” Nelson Speaks. She graduated from Mooreville High School in 1974 and spent most of her life as a resident of Lee County. She worked several years at Waste Management and in security much of her life with Sansone Security. Her hobbies included reading, playing Yahtzee and Rummikub. Pat loved her family, loved to talk and loved her cat, Angel.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Eggville Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in the Eggville Community. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Palmetto Fire Department. Holland Funeral Directors of Tupelo is honored to serve the family.

Patricia leaves behind her son Joe (Sara) Gurley of Shannon; grandchildren: Dakota David and Savanna David; brothers, Scott (Brianne) Speaks of Steens, MS, and Tom Speaks Jr. of Tupelo; sister, Mary Kay Thomas of Booneville; several nieces, nephews, and other family.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her son, Rickey Gurley; husband, Ricky Holland.
