James Boyd “Jim” Warren, 68, of New Hope, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025.

Jim retired from New Hope Telephone Cooperative after 35 years of dedicated service. A lifelong member of the community, he chose to remain close to the people and places he loved most. Jim had a passion for singing and flying, pursuits that reflected his joyful spirit and love for life. He deeply cherished his family, coworkers, and church family, all of whom were an important part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta Lyn Warren; his sister, Debi O’Neal; and his parents, Billy and Doris Warren.

Jim is survived by his three children, Alesha Justice, Mallorie Warren, and Jordan Warren; his three grandchildren, Jaxon Justice, Mia Warren, and Charli Warren; along with many nieces, nephews, and in-laws who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Thomas Dunn officiating.

Interment will be in Walker Cemetery.

While we grieve Jim’s passing from this life, we celebrate his reunion with God and loved ones who have gone before him.
