Karen Ann Carpenter-Urban (77) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 26th after a lengthy illness in Decatur, AL.
Karen was born November 29, 1948 to Arthur and Marilyn Carpenter in Lackawana, New York.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and son, Nathan Sorrow.
She is survived by her brother Kevin (Paula) Carpenter, nieces and nephews; daughter Leah (Barry) Bowen, grandchildren Caleb (Emilee) Bowen, Nicole (Reuben) Atwood, Faith Bowen; daughter-in-law Robin Sorrow, grandchildren McKynze and MaKaylah Sorrow and her good friend Judy Simms.
