David Chandler Griffey “Chad”, age 46, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home.
A memorial visitation will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Thursday, December 18th from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
Chad was born on March 1, 1979, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to David & Peggy Smith Griffey. He was in laundry service for many years and had recently started his own laundry service where he was the owner/operator of Everyday Laundry Service. He enjoyed fishing, winter camping and playing video games with his son, and riding motorbikes and 4 wheelers. He loved his family dearly, especially his girls, who were the apples of his eye.
He is preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents; and granddaughter, Khalilah.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Theresa Griffey; children, Dakota (Cassie), Kayse (Shane), Chasity (Cameron), and Brianna (Nick); sisters, Kasey and Schuyler; and grandchildren, Bentley, Anneka, RayLynn, Harper, Wyatt, Mavric, Liam, and Daxson.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial monetary contributions be made in memory of Chad to his family.
