Vickie Carol York, age 80 of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Falkville Health and Rehab Center. She was born on August 6, 1945, in Tennessee to M.J. Aday and Lois Butler Aday. Vickie was the owner of a pet store.
She was preceded in death by her father, M.J. Aday; mother, Lois Butler Aday; and stepmother, Antonitta Aday. She is survived by her sons, Chris (Sharon) York and Wesley York; grandchildren, Ryan, Bryce, Alexis, Cameron and Micaele York; siblings, M.J. Aday jr., Linda Sexton and Shelia Pell.
Funeral services will be held at Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM with burial in the Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
