Shannon Ann Overby, born May 19, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Franklin, Tennessee, at the age of 71. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and best friend, Shannon’s warmth and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
As a dedicated Registered Nurse, Shannon lovingly cared for countless patients throughout her distinguished career, embodying compassion and professionalism. Her resilience in overcoming physical challenges with grace and her infectious joy for life her.
Shannon leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
Shannon is survived by her children, Saberon Van Overby, and John Alvin Overby; three grandchildren, Nova Zohn, Mason Wilkin Overby, Livie June Overby; siblings, Sherry Anderson, Sandy Sasser, Jay Klein, and Jeff Klein.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025 at 11AM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
