Charles Willis Beard age 55 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Beard was born April 14, 1958 in Morgan County to Dewey Beard Jr. and Elosie Slaten.
Services for Mr. Beard are Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dobbins Cemetery in Appleton, TN with Rev. Eugene Cunningham and Rev. David Gamble officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Myers Beard; daughter, Ann Beard; son, Charles Beard; step-son, Michael Brookshire; step-daughter, Michelle Brookshire; 9 grandchildren; several brothers, one sister and numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother.
