Robin Lee Chaney  Robin Lee Chaney, 68, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama.

He was born on Monday, February 24, 1958, in Decatur, Alabama to Robert Lucas Chaney and Betty Jean Trotman Chaney.

Robin lived all his life in Northern Alabama. A man of deep faith, he truly believed there was nothing greater in this world than his beloved family and his church community. He loved the Lord with all his heart, a devotion that was evident to anyone who crossed his path. He was a proud and faithful member of Community Baptist Church, where he found his greatest joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others alongside the people he loved.

He possessed a rare warmth and an infectious joy for life. He was a true “all-around good guy” who simply never knew a stranger. Within minutes of meeting someone, he would treat them like an old friend, offering a warm smile, an open heart, and likely an enthusiastic “Roll Tide!” His passion for Saturdays was always anchored by the Crimson Tide, and plenty of Game-day Cheer. Beyond football and fellowship Robin had a deep appreciation for the simpler things in life, including his love for classic old cars and the enduring steadfast, deeply rooted presence he was in the lives of those he loved.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Robin is survived by one daughter; Randi Shea Chaney, one son; Garrett Lee Chaney, one brother; Robert (Denise) Preston Chaney, one sister; Bobbie Jean (Tony) Pridemore.

The family will have a Memorial Service at a later time.
