Brenda Smith, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026.
Brenda dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse. She had a gentle heart and a kind spirit, bringing compassion and kindness to everyone she encountered. She enjoyed expressing her creativity through painting and would often paint pictures of the people and things she cared about most.
Brenda had a special love for animals and always showed her pets the same compassion and tenderness she gave to her patients and grandchildren. All of her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she was incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
Brenda is survived by her son, Steve Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandson, Michael Smith (Melena Smith); and great-grandchildren, Trevor Cleveland (Teasie Cleveland) of Pensacola, Florida; Tori Cleveland Roberson (Will Roberson) of Butler, Georgia; Mason Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Makayla Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Smith of Scottsboro, Alabama, and her parents, Coleman and Eula Frazier.
Brenda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and loving heart will remain in the memories of those whose lives she touched.
Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
