Tony Wesley Steelman 58, of Athens,AL died Monday, February 3, 2020 in Athens, Alabama.
Born Tuesday, August 29, 1961 in Winter Haven, FL, he was the son of George W Steelman and Marvolene Putman Steelman.
Tony never hesitated to help those in need-he would give you the shirt off his back. he never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up the room. Ever the peacemaker, he will be missed by everyone he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pamela Pedersen; brother, Gary W Steelman.
He is survived by his daughters, Mallory Duke, Murfreesboro, TN and Tonya Wallace, Athens; sisters, Rebecca Chanin, Garner, NC, Sheila (TJ) Ross, Athens, AL, Julie Ray, Ardmore, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alex Oberneder officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
