Christopher Lee Neely, 55 of Union Grove, The Pine Ridge Community, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Neely was born January 26, 1962 in Marshall County to Billy Joe Neely and Betty E. Rogers Neely. He was a 1980 graduate of Brewer High School, served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and later worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the mining industry. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, watching Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball. His wife Sara Lee Oden Neely preceded him in death on November 16, 2014.
He is survived by his children and in-laws: Trent M. Neely and Heather, Cody Wayne Martin and LaManda, Jima Neely and Deenah Martin; his grandchildren: Adrianna Liles, Caleb Martin, Marleigh Neely, Zoee Martin, Cass Neely, Dallas Neely and Mason Neely and a brother: Michael A. Neely. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sara Lee Oden Neely and his parents: Billy Joe and Betty E. Neely.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday December 17, 2017 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City.
