David Chad CheeksDavid Chad Cheeks, age 50, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Huntsville.

Born on August 2, 1976, in Mississippi, David was the son of Bruce Cheeks and Frankie Isberto Allen. A man of deep faith and a servant’s heart, he devoted much of his life to encouraging and ministering to others.

David was an active member of Impact 58 in Pelham, where he served as a mentor and helped guide people in their walk with Christ. He was also involved with E-3 Ministries, participating in mission trips and sharing God’s Word with those he encountered. His faith was evident in both his actions and the way he lived his life.

When not serving others, David enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson through the mountains, spending time fishing, and making treasured memories with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His favorite scripture was Colossians 3:17:

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

David was preceded in death by his father, Glen Busby; his aunts, Libby Bardwell and Savannah Booth; and his special cousins, Travis Gibson, Tammy Lass, and Beth Bardwell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Chloe (Brandon) Revans and Kit Allen; his beloved grandchildren, Rowen and Parker Revans; his mother, Frankie (Jeff, Sr.) Allen; his father, Bruce Cheeks; his sisters, Jennifer Cheeks, Bree McCraw, and Elisha McCraw; his nephews, Luke Busby and Griffin Alderhold; and a host of cousins and other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.

David’s legacy of faith, compassion, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is at home with the Lord he faithfully served.
