Edward Leldon Good, 86 of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama died Monday August 29, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Good was born August 27, 1930 in Marlin Texas to Edward Franklin Good and Annie Elizabeth Manning Good. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a farmer, citrus and row crops until his retirement. He moved to Lacey’s Spring in 2011 from Rosebud Texas.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: Keith Good, Bryan Good, Cheryl and Darrell Good; daughter and son-in-law: Jackie Good Baxter and Ken Baxter; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a sister: Alcean Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Annie Good and his wife Violet Mae McIntosh Good.
Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Brothers: Ray Higginbotham and David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing. He will lie-in-state from 2:30 – 3:30 at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Keith Good, Bryan Good, Darrell Good, Paul Good, Steven Williams and Noah Whitney.
