Johnnie Carolyn Bussey Key age 73 of Dora, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016 at her residence. She was formerly the office manager at Horse Creek Golf Course; was a big NASCAR fan and was an avid Alabama football fan.
Funeral services will be Thursday September 1, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bruce LeVan will officiate. Visitation is Thursday from 5:30-7 pm. Committal service and burial will be Friday morning at 10:00 am in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Edith Bussey; the father of her children, Kenneth Smith; husband, Mike Key; sister, Sandra Capps; brother in law, Bo Henderson; and nephew and niece, Scott and Misty Capps.
Survivors include her son, Steve Smith and wife Anna and daughter, Kimberly Smith McDonald and husband Dennis; grandchildren, Tiffany Pruett (Ryan), Everett Hoagland and Stone Smith; great grandchildren, Taylen and Rayce Pruett; brother and sisters, Jim Bussey (Linda), Charles Bussey (Connie), Charlotte Campbell (Mike), Joan Anderson and Roxanne Hill (Bruce); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
