Mr. Ricky Dale Scott, age 75, of Sardis, TN, left his earthly home early Sunday morning, October 11, 2026. He was born April 21, 1951 in St. Louis, MO. He was a loving brother, dad, Papawa, and Big Papawa. His life was centered around his family.
Ricky retired from CM Chain Factory and worked at the Bargerton Waste Management. He loved hunting and fishing.
Ricky leaves behind a lifetime of memories and will be deeply missed and loved forever.
Ricky is survived by his two kids, Jason Scott (Kim) and Chrissie Scott (Brandon Hollowell); seven grandchildren, Shelby and Ryan Lowe, Cody and Katliyn Scott, Haiden Scott, Falen and Steven Wright; nine great grandkids, Luna, Eryx, Willow, Lowe, Ava, Dawson, and Nova Scott, Brody, Will, and Weston Wright; two sisters, Linda Taylor (Joe) and Stacce Scott; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W. C. and Bonita Scott; one sister, Sheena Gossett; and the mother of his children, Sandra Scott.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2026 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 11 AM – 9 PM and on Wednesday, 11 AM – 2 PM.
