Lula Belle Bailey, 87 of Arab Alabama, died Monday August 29, 2016 at Golden Living Center-Arab.
Mrs. Bailey was born October 13, 1928 in Marshall County Alabama to James C. Hayes and Julie Ann Davidson Hayes. She worked as a dietary aide in hospitals until her retirement. Her husband Ernest Cleo Bailey preceded her in death on June 16, 1978.
She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her son: Ronald Larry Bailey; her daughter and son-in-law: Linda Jo Bailey Maze and Jimmie Maze; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Bailey; her parents: James and Julie Hayes; her son: Ernest Calvin Bailey; four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Arthur Feemster and Wayne Hanvey, officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Brian Maze, Baron C. Maze, Samuel Maze and David Maze. Honorary Pallbearer, Dwight Hayes.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
