Gene Grinnell, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the City of Lawrenceburg, and a member of The Way Church. Mr. Grinnell served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wince and Molly Jaco Grinnell; his wife, Retha McBride Grinnell; two sisters, Nellie Adkins and Dolly Robinson; three brothers, Albert Grinnell, James Grinnell, and Bill Grinnell; and two step-children, Louis Junior Robertson and Douglas Robertson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, May 01, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, May 02, 2016, with Bryan Camp and Larry Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
