Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson Mizell passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at the age of 53. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lonie Bell Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark Mizell Sr.; daughter, Emma McGee Mizell; stepson, Mark (Suzanne) Mizell Jr.; brothers and sisters, Floyd Johnson, Jr., Lynn (Pete) Christofferson, Susan Johnson, Carolyn (Don) Miller, Marie (Windell) Allen, James Ira (Marion) Carr and Maxine (James) Guyse and grandchildren, Eason and Coleman Mizell.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Doug Moody officiating. A time of gathering with the family will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Nephews will be pallbearers.
