Funeral for Dorothy Mae Blankenship White, 93, of Moulton will be Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Ronald Manley officiating. Burial will be in Owen Chapel Church Cemetery in the Youngtown community. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mrs. White, who died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2015 at NHC, Moulton, was born Jan. 16, 1922 to William Harvey and Sarah Jane Blankenship. She was a member of Owen Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. White was a 1943 graduate of Mount Hope High School and attended Florence State Teachers College. She was a former school teacher, homemaker, factory worker and sales clerk at Luther King’s Store in Moulton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin H. White; son, Charles Dwayne White; her parents; and all her siblings, Price, Marion, Walter, Russell, Flora Dale, Flossie and Lona.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane White Blevins (Jerry); stepchildren, Arnold White and Barbara White Wimberley; grandsons, Steve and Todd Page; stepgrandchildren, Tim Wimberley (Dawn), Melissa Wimberley Larsen and Matt Blevins (Allison); great-grandchildren, Pasha and Sophie Page; stepgreat-grandchildren, Anna, Katie and Maggie Larsen, Riley and Kyle Wimberley, Katie Beth and Will Blevins.
Pallbearers will be Steve, Todd and Pasha Page, Riley Wimberley, Kyle Wimberley, Gay White and Ronnie White.
