Funeral for Lisa Johnson Turner will be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home (Danville Rd, Decatur). Visitation with the family begins at noon. The Reverend Gary Heathcock and Jeff Sellars will conduct the service.
Lisa was a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church and then Ninth Street United Methodist Church. She was a 1982 graduate of Austin High School and attended Wallace State.
She died in Huntsville Hospital on Thursday afternoon. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Johnson; all grandparents, aunt, Jean Ray; nephew, Brandon Turner; and cousin, Susan Cooper.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, James A Turner; her mother, Lucia Faye Johnson; uncle, Bob Cooper (Flora); brother-in-law, Gary Turner II (Adonna); two nephews and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Akers, Hal Cooper, Glenn Grisham, Ken Lott, Gary York, Gary Turner II, William and Lynn Turner.
