J.M. Page, 88, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Mississippi to Lee and Lois Riddle Page. He was owner of Page Chevrolet in Red Bay, Alabama, for 42 years. J.M. was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1951 to 1955. He was a former member of the Red Bay City Council and former director of Colonial Bank. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Bay, Alabama.
Services will be Thursday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with the Rev. Mitch Nethery, the Rev. David Kelley and Dr. Kaleb Page officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife of 68 years, Azilee Page, Red Bay, Alabama; one daughter, Sharon Strickland (Harold), Red Bay, Alabama; one son, Gary Page, Red Bay, Alabama; grandsons, Dr. Kaleb Page (Bekah), Memphis, Tennessee, and Kirby Page, Muscle Shoals, Alabama; one great-grandson, Kaleb James Page Jr., Memphis, Tennessee; and daughter-in-law, Marti Page, Red Bay, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Freeman Page.
Pallbearers will be Roger Page, Ronald Page, Tim Page, Barry Page, Jerry Terrell and Terry Armstrong.
Visitation will be today, 5-8 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 126, Red Bay, AL 35582 or LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, 848 Adams Ave., Memphis, TN 38103.
