Linda Jane Hines Sledge, age 68, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She retired from Denso after many years of service. Linda was a perfect wife and mother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, William and Mary Hines, and brothers, Michael Stephen Hines and Anthony Rufus Hines.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Steve Sledge; son, Randall Craig Sledge, of New Orleans; daughter and son-in-law, Drenda Kay Johnson Tuttle and husband, Mike, of Friendsville; grandchildren, Emma Blaire Sledge, of Florida, and Kalen Jeffrey Tuttle, of Alcoa; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Hines, of Rogersville, Alabama; and sisters, Marie Anne Hines Landers and husband, Frank, of Greenback, and Rebecca Gail Hines Stewart, of Petersville, Florida. Many nieces, nephews, and other family also survive.
The family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Morganton Cemetery with the Rev. David Bell officiating.
