Funeral services for Mrs. Ursula “Sue” Qualls Bunch, age 70, are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Slaughters-Hanson Chapel of Tomblinson Funeral Home in Slaughters, Kentucky. Interment will follow in Slaughters Cemetery. Mrs. Bunch passed away late Tuesday in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born November 16, 1943 in Earlington, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Helen Miller Qualls. A life-long resident of Kentucky, Mrs. Bunch moved to Lexington, TN to live with her daughter, Sherri, in 2009. She was a retired LPN, working for Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Kentucky for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Bunch; one son, David Bunch; one sister, Martha Jane Todd; and two brothers, Bill and John David Qualls. Survivors include her children, Sherri (Toby) Stubblefield of Lexington, TN, Frances (Danny) Sparks of Kirksville, MO, and Edward Bunch of Bloomington, IL; her brother, Roy Qualls of White Plains, KY; three sisters, Linda Hibbs, June Burnes, and Nancy Young of Madisonville, KY; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5-10 PM and Thursday 10 AM – 6 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington, TN. Then on Friday 4-8 PM, and Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughter-Hanson Chapel in Slaughters, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Cancer Society.
