FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department arrested  a man for stealing from an automobile.  Here is how the Florence Police describe the arrest:

“A Florence man charged after stealing from antique police car.  Harry James Ricks, Jr, 24, of Florence remains in the LCDC after officers say he unlawfully entered an antique Florence Police Car and stole items from inside. Florence Police officers observed Ricks inside a 1964 Impala police car early Monday morning. Reports indicate that Ricks, who had just been released from jail walked to the Florence Police Department and entered the car and began stealing paperwork from inside. He was approached by officers and found to be in possession of items from within the car. Ricks was taken into custody without incident and remains in jail on a $3,500 dollar bond.

*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty*
