ADDISON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Winston County that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, has claimed the life of an Addison man.
George D. Bailey III, 65, was fatally injured when the 1996 Chevrolet C1500 that he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, overturned and then struck a tree. Bailey was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Winston County 41 near Winston County 3705, approximately five miles north of Addison, in Winston County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
