Olen Delano McGuire – Obituary

Olen Delano McGuire, 80, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. McGuire was a native of Franklin County. He was a retired locksmith, a former board member of the Phil Campbell Housing Authority and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

The funeral service will be Sunday, July 6, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Tony Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Survivors include son, Jerry Lee McGuire, Colorado; sister, Christine Steele, Phil Campbell; two nieces; three great-nieces; three great-great nieces; one great-great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Helen Thrasher McGuire.
